What method do you suggest or have you experienced to set cue points on a track?

Hello, usually I first use my mouse to got to a break in the waveform and then use the jog wheel to find my cue points.

Thanks for your answer, Jan.

I meant to ask something different but probably I wasn't too clear...

The point is: is there a strategy that you use to set cue points on every track in the same way to make mixing easier?

Personally I'm using cue points for two things:
1. Mark important points in tracks (end of intro, chorus, outro,..)
2. In a very few tracks, cue for remix (for example on vocal track one cue per word)

Note that if you right-click on a cue around the wheel, you can rename it.

Thanks for the tip about renaming cue points, really useful Jan! ;)

I think that it would be great if you could also change the colour of a cue point, so for example you could use different colours for different sections of the track...

Even some sort of beats counter between cue points could help in mixing in phrase, what do you think about it?
